The high-performance machine for all types of chainette cords for use in trimmings and as ear loops for medical protective masks.

The 1700/20 is suitable for the production of all types of chainette cords that are used in a wide variety of areas, such as: trimmings, knitwear, medical applications and much more.
The machine is specially designed for the production of elastic, durable cord qualities with a soft haptic.
Due to the technological properties, these cords can be easily connected to other textile surfaces, making them ideal for use as ear loops for disposable and reusable protective masks.

• The cylinder diameter and number of needles can be defined individually
• Interchangeable knitting needles and cylinders
• Cylinders are available with 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 and 24 needles
• Processing of various types of yarn
• Latch needles for processing natural and synthetic fibre yarns as well as filament yarns
• Electronically controlled machine stop
• The machine stops automatically in the event of an empty thread spool or a thread break. This is indicated by a red warning lamp.

The machine is equipped with:

• 20 heads (cylinders)
• Single take-down
• Cylinder in 6mm diameter with 12 needles (interchangeable analogous to sample template)
• Electronically controlled speed (inverter)
• Consumables and accessories in the standard scope of delivery

The 1700/20 can optionally be equipped with a cone creel consisting of 40 positions and a 2-roller take-off device for depositing the finished goods in high boxes.
